Nippur Elementary and Secondary Curriculum Structure

Nippur is considered to be one of the most important sites in Ancient Sumer. Not only was it a seat of worship for the ancient Sumerian God Enlil, but it also had political significance. Much knowledge about the city was discovered when four expeditions ventured there over a short period of time in the nineteenth century from the University of Pennsylvania.
